With a population of 1.5 million, Kansas City is the largest city in Missouri. The city is located on the Western border of Kansas City and in Jackson, Clay, Cass, and Platte County.

The Federal Government is the largest employer in Kansas City as it is one of ten regional office cities. Ford and General Motors also employ a large group at production facilities. Many large companies are headquartered in the city including Applebee’s, AMC Theaters, Boulevard Brewing Company, Commerce Bancshares, Hallmark Cards, Hostess Brands, the Kansas City Southern Railway, and Russell Stover Candies.

Kansas City is home to many tourist attractions. The Kauffman Center for Performing Arts, the Kansas City Repertory Theater, and the Irish Museum and Cultural Center.

Kansas City is known as the Soccer Capital of America. It is the home to the United States Men’s National Team, as well as two professional soccer teams, Sporting Kansas City, and FC Kansas City. Kansas City is also home to the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals.

Kansas City hosts home to many Universities and Colleges including Columbia College, DeVry, Rasmussen College, University of Kansas Edwards Campus, Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Saint Paul School of Theology.

The largest newspaper is the Kansas City Star. Kansas City also boasts an international airport, the Kansas City International Airport.

Kansas City has superb city services. The Fire Chief is Paul Berardi, and the Police Chief is Darryl Forte.
Kansas City is a very fit city. Kansas City has close to twenty CrossFit facilities.

The mayor of Kansas City is Sly James. He was elected Mayor of Kansas City on May 2, 2011. He is a highly competent mayor who has helped bring a lot of tech jobs to Kansas City.

Kansas City’s senators are Roy Blunt and Claire McCaskill. The representative is Emanuel Cleaver II.
