Missouri is home to the Midwest’s 6th largest city, Kansas City. KC is also the state’s largest city with a population estimated at over 475,000 in 2015. This city sits in two states and on two rivers, the Missouri River and the Kansas River.

It was incorporated in June of 1850 becoming the Kansas Territory. Confusion between the Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri still exists for many today. The KC that sits on the western border of Missouri is close to downtown and rests on approximately 319 acres. It is mostly in Jackson County, but parts of it stretch into Cass, Clay, and Platte counties, as well.

It is a modern city and has several suburbs surrounding it in the zip code areas of 66206, 64068, 64048, and 66201. There you will find families raising children, young adults starting out, and those who have lived here their entire lives. Kansas City, Missouri is the county seat for Jackson County as well and offers several neighborhoods that can be called home for anyone.

With the growing population in the northern area of the River Market District, the eastern area of the 18th and Vine District, and the southern neighborhood of the Country Club Plaza, the need for cheap auto insurance is available. While those living in these neighborhoods enjoy their comfortable living style, they know they must meet state minimum insurance laws and search for the cheapest car insurance they can find to fit their budget.
